Dr. Thalia Kazakos Omar is a licensed acupuncturist in New York. She practices integrative medicine and works to empower and support people along their path to health and healing. She is committed to providing compassionate care and individualized treatment along with supportive tools and resources to enable transformation and well-being. She offers comprehensive solutions to help people achieve and sustain wellness using traditional, holistic and functional medicine.
Education & Background
Thalia earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts in 2011. After graduation she went on to work in sustainable agriculture and regenerative design while simultaneously pursuing a career in movement arts as an aerial performer, dance instructor and yoga teacher. In 2018, a desire to shift focus to human health and holistic medicine lead her to enroll in the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture where she went on to earn a Master of Acupuncture degree and Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate. Attending a Five Element Acupuncture school instilled a deep understanding of the ecological and esoteric components of Taoist Medicine. Six months after graduating in September 2021 she was enrolled in Pacific College of Health Sciences and graduated in August, 2023 with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Her dedication to sharing holistic medicine with others is fueled by passion and a devotion to the life long journey of becoming a practitioner. She has a private practice in NYC, teaches continuing education programs, sits on the governing board of her alma mater and is dedicated to continuous personal growth and professional development.
