Dr. Thalia Kazakos Resh is a licensed acupuncturist in New York. She practices integrative medicine and works to empower and support people along their path to health and healing. She is committed to providing compassionate care and individualized treatment along with supportive tools and resources to enable transformation and well-being. She offers comprehensive solutions to help people achieve and sustain wellness using traditional, holistic and functional medicine.
Education & Background
Thalia earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Massachusetts in 2011. After graduation she went on to work in sustainable agriculture and regenerative design, expanding her focus to human health and holistic medicine through the cultivation and production of phytotherapeutics. She studied and worked in medical mycology which has a long standing heritage in East Asian and Traditional Medicine. She graduated with her Master of Acupuncture degree and Chinese Herbal Studies Certificate from the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture in September 2021. Attending a Five Element Acupuncture school instilled a deep understanding of the nature based synergism and esoteric components of Eastern Medicine. She integrates traditional strategies with biomedical knowledge in order to increase the quality of care and clinical outcomes. She graduated from Pacific College of Health Sciences in August, 2023 with a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
